Football can be a funny old game and anything can happen. But for now, the champagne is on ice in the blue half of Manchester...

Manchester City look certain to clinch their third Premier League title in six years after taking the division by storm under the guidance of Pep Guardiola. Customers searching for football tickets can begin planning all the possible dates for when City could have the title wrapped up, so get your hands on the cheapest deals now before they sell out.

Pep Guardiola’s side have dominated the division, losing only once in 29 league matches so far with a mammoth 16-point lead over their nearest rivals with nine matches to go. There are a number of different possible scenarios, but one very real possibility is City winning the title against their neighbours, Manchester United - a date for the diary, indeed.

City only need five wins out of their last nine Premier League fixtures, so eyes down and take a look at all the possible scenarios you could enjoy with the remaining Manchester City tickets this season.

The earliest City could win the title is 31st March against Everton, although it would take a fairly unlikely string of results. For this to occur, Liverpool would have to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford and then fail to beat Crystal Palace in their following game on March 31, with United also not beating Swansea on the same day. However, if that did happen, and City beat Stoke and Everton, then they would be champions before April.

City could even clinch it before the derby at the Etihad on 7th April, resulting in Jose Mourinho and his side having to give their local rivals a painstaking guard of honour onto the pitch before kick-off. Football Ticket Pad has limited amount of Manchester Derby tickets remaining for Manchester City v Manchester United for what is sure to be a highly charged encounter.

Likewise, City could win the title against United. The most-likely events that would lead to a City triumph would be if Mourinho's players win or draw against Liverpool and then go on to win against Swansea before losing to Guardiola's men, providing City beat both Stoke and Everton beforehand.

A more likely scenario is City beating Stoke, Everton and United, whilst Liverpool beat United, Watford and Palace, keeping the gap to 18 points with six games to go and the title, mathematically, still alive. Then Liverpool play Everton on April 8 and any dropped points would hand City the title.

City could also end up being confirmed as champions at Wembley against Tottenham on April 14 - if they drop points before then. However, some fixture dates could be subject to change if their rearranged match with Brighton is scheduled amongst the build-up, with the same going for United's trip to West Ham.

Of course, all of these scenarios depend on whether City's lead is cut shorts over the coming weeks. It is only a matter of time before the title is mathematically decided and the curtain falls on what has been another pulsating eight months of English football.

The Premier League continues to deliver a fantastic standard of football which attracts millions of football fans from across the globe. Buy your Premier League tickets now as the 2017/18 season reaches its climax.
